1. In the old days，the lines between work and leisure time were markedly clearer. People left their offices at a predictable time，were often completely disconnected from their jobs as they traveled to and from work，and were offduty once they were home.That’s no longer true.In today’s highly competitive job market, employers demand increased productivity,expecting employees to put in longer hours and to keep in touch almost constantly via fax，cell phones，email，or other communications devices.As a result，employees feel the need to check what’s going on at the office，even on days off.They feel pressured to work after office hours just to catch up on everything they have to do.They work harder and longer, change

their work tasks more frequently,and they worry more about job security.

答案：過去，工作與休閑的界限涇渭分明。人們可在預(yù)計(jì)的時(shí)間下班，在上下班的途中往往與工作完全脫離。而且，一旦回到家，就不再工作，而現(xiàn)今這種情況已不復(fù)存在。在今天競爭十分激烈的職場上，雇主要求提高生產(chǎn)率，希望雇員加班加點(diǎn)，而且還要通過傳真、移動電話、電子郵件或其他通訊工具隨時(shí)保持聯(lián)系。這樣，雇員就覺得有必要了解辦公室的事情，甚至休假時(shí)也不例外，他們感到壓力，需要加班趕進(jìn)度，確保完成每件所要做的事。他們工作更勤奮，投入的時(shí)間更多，工作任務(wù)變換得更頻繁，越發(fā)為保住工作而煩心。

【評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)】

短文英譯漢的評分標(biāo)準(zhǔn)按譯文質(zhì)量分為15~13分、12~10分、9~7分、6~4分和3~1分五個(gè)檔次。各檔次標(biāo)準(zhǔn)如下：

(1)15~13分。全文翻譯正確或基本正確，漢語表達(dá)通順。

(2)12~10分。全文主要內(nèi)容翻譯正確或基本正確，漢語表達(dá)通順，但有少數(shù)語句翻譯錯(cuò)誤。

(3)9~7分。全文不少于一半的內(nèi)容基本正確，漢語表達(dá)尚通順，有一些語句翻譯錯(cuò)誤。

(4)6~4分。少部分內(nèi)容翻譯基本正確，有較多的語句翻譯錯(cuò)誤。

(5)3~1分。僅譯對個(gè)別句子。

(6)全文譯錯(cuò)或譯出零星單詞或全文未譯，不給分。

(7)缺譯的語句按完全譯錯(cuò)處理。

根據(jù)以上評分檔次描述，評分可在相應(yīng)的檔次內(nèi)上下浮動。
